Can we cure Alzheimer’s?

You might be intrigued by an invited paper this week in Alzheimer’s & Dementia, which the editors feel “will change the field”. The paper explains how Alzheimer’s works, why prior trials failed, and offers a novel point of intervention. The paper has already generated more than 100 reprint requests prior to publication. The link to the paper will not be active until publication, but will be:

Fossel M. A Unified Model of Dementias and Age-Related Neurodegeneration. Alzheimer’s & Dementia: The Journal of the Alzheimer’s Association. January 2020. https://doi.org/10.1002/alz.12012

The paper is long (17k words, 269 references) even before the editors requested that I write an appendix, describing the dialogue with the reviewers. If you’d like a copy, please ask.

I hope you find the article intriguing.

  1. Congratulations Dr Fossel, this seems amazingly positive!

You’ve been busy, it seems. I’m assuming the novel point of intervention will be telomerase induction, but am eager to learn more.

I would love a copy, please.
